Curriculum advisers have extensive experience in leading successful departments.  As such, they are able to support leaders of large departments in addition to coaching staff, or perform diagnostic reviews of departments.  They are also able to lead school-wide projects in their specialist areas

Elizabeth has worked in maths education for 20 years; she has taught in a range of schools in different contexts including as part of the TES Maths Team of the Year 2015.  Elizabeth has supported schools locally through roles as an Advanced Skills Teacher, Specialist Leader of Education and NCETM PD lead; and nationally, when part of the school development team at Mathematics Mastery. Elizabeth has worked closely with the Maths Hubs since their inception leading several work groups, including as a Teaching for Mastery specialist, and as part of the Shanghai Secondary Exchange. At Mathematics Mastery, Elizabeth co-authored classroom resources and contributed to the design and delivery of professional development for classroom teachers, middle leaders and senior leadership. Elizabeth has a degree in Mathematics and a masters degree in School Improvement and Educational Leadership.

Ellie Caple has taught Science, specialising in Chemistry, for 20 years, teaching in a range of state and independent schools. She is passionate about teaching and learning and has worked as a lead practitioner in developing whole school best practice. Ellie has led departments in two different schools and has a track record in raising standards of science departments. She has supported many local schools in Birmingham as a Specialist Leader in Education working on behalf of Bishop Challenor Teaching school alliance and the Oaks Collegiate. Ellie has a master’s degree in Chemistry and is currently working towards a master’s in educational leadership and Management.

Helen has taught English for 20 years, working in inner-city and ‘special measures’ schools as part of her desire to effect positive change in education. She has been a Head of English, and an Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning. Helen has supported schools locally in her roles as an Advanced Skills Teacher, Specialist Leader of Education, and as a Trust lead for English.  Helen has worked previously with the National Strategies on Functional Skills and with her Local Authority as a Lead teacher.  Helen has a degree in English Literature, and a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation.
