9ine delivers independent assurance and governance for the IT support services provided to the Trust by CSE. Acting as a trusted partner, it offers expert advice and helps mitigate risks associated with the operational delivery of the IT support contract. Its tailored services include:
- Biannual external security assessments: Comprehensive evaluations across all schools to measure the effectiveness of IT support services in safeguarding the Trust against cyber threats
- Monthly operational performance reviews: A monthly review of ongoing service delivery to ensure consistent and reliable performance
- Annual technical and security audit: A focused audit at one school, providing insights into potential risks that could affect the entire Trust
- Annual IT performance summary: A concise report highlighting key performance metrics and achievements
Marcus O’Brien
Principal Consultant
Marcus O’Brien began his journey with 9ine through a university work placement in June 2012. Upon graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Network Management and Design, he was invited to rejoin 9ine in a full-time capacity in June 2014.
Throughout his time at 9ine, Marcus has gained extensive experience across the full spectrum of 9ine’s technical services. This includes delivering security and systems assessments and essential services to high-profile clients worldwide.
Additionally, Marcus plays a key role in overseeing on-site management for new build and refurbishment projects. His expertise spans bespoke project management, technical and operational tender management, and mobile device management (MDM) system deployment.
